The secret to a good life is self-confidence. There are many ways to build self-confidence and I’ll go into them in this article.
The Secret To Self Confidence
The real secret to self-confidence lies in your ability to do small tasks with a positive attitude. Do the things you say you’re going to do.
Start with micro-tasks, and work your way to macro tasks. For instance: you think: “I'm going to make my bed today,” and then you do it.
So, on your way to the kitchen, you say, when you see that hair on the floor, “I'm going to pick it up and throw it away.” and then you do it!
Then you say, “I'm going to be drinking a glass of water,” and then you do it.
Sounds easy, right? Start with this plan and then continue.
Soon, it's like: “Today I can be doing 100 push-ups.” Boom. You’re tossing that out.
“I will write straight for an hour now, without stopping.” Check.
“I will call these five prospects and pitch them to my new service before midday.” Check.
See what I’m talking about?
All you have to do is keep going at it with this confidence and persuasion.
You’ll get to a point where A) you're much more cautious about what you're saying to yourself and others, and B) you’ll find you’ve gone back and forth to keep your word.
Sounds good, right?
And now you live with honesty. So if you do that, well, they won't have an idea how far you can climb. Or how much self-confidence you have built up. Keep at it. Keep building your confidence and integrity and you’ll go very far.
