Let’s get the ball rolling with an overview.
What Is Norwex? – A Comprehensive Overview Of The Norvex:
- It’s an MLM company headquartered in Norway and operating in 14 countries.
- Bjorn Nicolaisen is the founder of the Novex. He created this company in 1994. The backstory is that he came across a cloth that, along with water, had miraculously cleaned his car's windscreen without any chemicals. This birthed the idea of Norwex, cleaning products without using any of the chemicals. Now, Norwex is selling cleaning products and personal care products.
- The unique selling point of their products is that they touted them as chemical-free.
- Norwex Enviro cloth is the flagship product of Norwex. It is made up of fiber and attracts grease, dust, and dirt. Just soak it in water and clean the household products, and you're done.
- They provide a 30-day guarantee for their products. So, if the consumer is not satisfied with their product's performance, he can claim a refund within 30 days. Along with a guarantee, they also provide a two years warranty for their products.
- MLM companies usually sell a modicum of products to pretend that they are legit businesses, but actually, their business is recruiting, but not the Norwex. They sell real products and make strict rules for the distributors to sell a specific amount of products within a particular time limit.
- But in the end, they are an MLM company and exist on the fuel of recruiting new members.
- They call their recruited members Norwex consultants.
- Joining Norwex and becoming a Norwex consultant is not free. In fact, they charge a hefty enrollment fee.
- But if you want to make money as a Norwex consultant, you have to recruit downlines and sell products. Their strict rules make it hard to earn any money with this scheme.
All the MLMs, including Norwex, tend to portray that they and their products are already very popular with the consumers, and they are doing you a favor to accept you as a member for a “small fee.” As proved, over the years, that it's a total lie.
I’m convinced that selling Norwex products would not be easy for you. And there is a high probability that you end up losing money instead of earning.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Norwex MLM?
- It’s not easy to know the details about fees and Norwex compensation plan without joining the program.
- But I have gathered some authentic details for you.
- If you want to join the Norwex scheme, you have to pay a hefty enrolment fee of $200. Now, it has the highest joining fee among all the MLMs that I have reviewed. And I have reviewed quite some.
- After paying the joining fee, they provide you with a compensation plan. You can earn up to 35% in commission, which is good in my opinion if you pull off sales or got successful in recruiting members.
- They will give you tasks of selling a particular number of products within the specified time limit, which you have to complete. If you fail to complete the task, you will end up buying the products yourself to continue as a Norwex consultant. That’s how they make money.
Even after paying a large amount in enrolment fee, you would require an advanced level of selling skill for either selling the products or recruiting the downline, and it is not going to happen quickly. Door-to-door selling is decreased because people prefer to buy products either from superstores or from online e-commerce stores.
Is Norwex A Pyramid Scheme?
- The straight answer is no. Now is not a pyramid scheme.
- There are a lot of companies running the pyramid schemes while wearing the clothes of MLMs, but not the Norwex.
- Now not only recruit members for a fee, but it also sells the real products. However, the products have mixed reviews.
Does Norwex Really Kill Bacteria?
- Norwex claims that their flagship product, enviro cloth, removes 99% of bacteria from utensils and household products.
- In multiple experiments, it's proved that this claim is not valid.
- According to Annie’s Experiments, “Norwex and e-cloth do not seem to grow bacteria as well as a cotton cloth (in the plastic bag experiments) but can still have a lot of bacteria in them even after hanging dry for 24 hours.”
Does Norwex Really Work?
- Yes and No. The thing is that the products of the Norwex are not as bad as those of other MLMs but not as good as they claim to be.
- Their cloth product does good work in cleaning, but it does not remove the germs altogether as they claim to be.
- Their personal care products are also not that good.
Norwex: Legit Or Just Another Scam?
- I would say that Norwex is not a scam. They are a legit MLM company, and they are also selling products along with recruiting.
- Scams have some standard features of hiding names of creators, tall claims of earning easy money, no authentic footprints, etc., which I have not found in this case.
- They are operating in 14 countries, created many products, earned and invested a lot of money. Also, I did not see any reviews of people who got scammed by Norwex.
So, in my humble opinion, Norwex is not a scam. But the question arises will you make any money by joining them or not?

How Easy Is It To Make Money With Norwex Scheme?
- Honestly, It would not be a walk in the park to earn money by joining this scheme.
- The chances are that you would lose more money than earning it. Because after paying a massive enrollment fee, you have to complete the tasks of selling a particular number of products in a specific period. And if you fail to sell that many products, you have to buy them for yourself to maintain the status of Norwex consultant. That’s a lot of headache.
- This situation is not only with Norwex but with all the MLMs; that's why 99% of people who join any MLM end up losing money.
It’s quite clear that you are not going to make money easily or quickly with this scheme.
Do I Recommend Norwex Scheme?
- I will not recommend you to join this scheme. Heck, I will not recommend joining any MLM.
- You need a higher level of selling and persuasion skills to sell door-to-door products or to recruit members. For that, you required a lot of training and practical experience.
- So, the probability of losing money is higher. Also, completing their tough tasks is a big pain in the ass.
If you're a beginner in the field of selling and you never have experience working in any MLM, I would recommend you to stay away from it.
But you have to earn money, isn't it? If not Norwex, you would ask what to do to make a legit and handsome income.
Is There An Easier Way To Make Good Money?
- In fact, there is. You can make legit, consistent, and a good amount of money with local lead generation.

- I use Facebook ads to acquire qualified leads.

Norwex has a 60 day guarantee. The requirement to remain an “active” consultant is to submit $250 in sales ( this includes personal supply orders) with in a rolling three month period. It does not cost $200 to become a consultant and there are opportunities to join for very little investment. 1 launch party often is all it takes to earn your kit ( there are a couple of kits). Recruiting is not mandatory . It is not multi level marketing, Norwex is a direct sales company. Multi level marketing is a :legal: way of getting around the term pyramid as pyramids are illegal here in Canada as well as other countries. Any one who becomes a consultant has the opportunity to be a team leader and move up to higher levels such as executive sales leader , while the person who recruited them can chose to remain a consultant. In multilevel marketing a consultant can never surpass the person who recruited them AND With Norwex the company pays all consultants directly. Parties are not necessary to be successfully. there are thousands of consultants who live quite comfortably with what they earn with their Norwex business
