What Is Private Label Masters About?

  • PLM is an Amazon FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) course that is designed to guide you on how to become a seller on Amazon. Tim promises to teach you all of the strategies he uses to build his Amazon business from the ground up. The course is divided into 8 modules with each focusing on an aspect of setting up your business.

Tim claims that by using his “Compound Layering”, you will be able to “start and scale a 6-figure amazon business under 6 months with zero prior experience.”

It’s pleasing to the ear to know that there is a course that can walk you through the seemingly complicated process of becoming an Amazon seller. But before you give the course a shot, it’s important that you carefully weigh its pros and cons. This will help you to make an informed decision.

On my part, I will do my best to provide you with the necessary details you need about the course and Amazon FBA as a business model in general.

Before diving deep into the Private Label Master review proper, let’s take a quick look at Tim’s profile to determine whether he’s even qualified to teach you Amazon FBA in the first place.

Who Is Tim Sanders?

  • Tim is an 8-figure Amazon seller who started his business about four years ago. He claims to have helped hundreds of people to start their Amazon business. He recently created his course, PLM to teach more people about his strategy for success.
  • The course has two Facebook groups – a general group and a VIP group. The VIP group is designed for those who have bought the course while the general group are for those who haven’t. When you visit the official website of PLM, you will be required to drop your email address to watch a 30-minute training video that Tim uses to showcase his success and persuade you to sign up for the main training.
  • Based on the available information about him online, it appears Tim is actually making money from his Amazon business unlike some self-styled Amazon gurus who teach people how to make money from an Amazon business when the only money they make is from the sales of their courses.

That’s by the way.

The important question is, can you make money with Amazon FBA using Tim’s approach? If yes, what does it require to start an Amazon business, and make it a consistent source of income?

I’ll answer these questions very soon, just stay with me…

Private Label Masters: The Course Overview

  • The course is divided into 8 modules. The following are the module-by-module analysis of the course to give you an idea of what to expect in the course:

Module 1 – Introduction

  • In this module, Tim explains what the course is about and what you will learn from it. He makes it clear right from the onset that the course isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. Students are expected to go through the learning process by following through with the course module by module.
  • Tim emphasizes on qualities like self-discipline, strong work ethic and self-knowledge as essential ingredients of success in the business. He also offers insights about key components of the business such as mindset, licenses, taxes, Amazon’s fees and liability.
  • In my opinion, I feel this is a good way to start a course.

If anything, Tim prepares the ground for you on what to expect and what you need to know before launching your business. However, I found out something was missing in the elements of success he mentioned.

Tim appears to place excessively heavy emphasis on the need to develop a positive mindset and downplay the important role that money plays in the business.

In addition to a positive mindset, the right attitude to work and discipline, you need a lot of MONEY to start the business. Depending on what you plan to sell, you need thousands of dollars to procure inventory. Also, you need money to keep financing your business in case your products flop.

Many Amazon sellers tell you how much they make monthly, but only a few of them tell you how much they invested in the business when starting out. FBA may not be the right business for you especially if you don’t have much money to throw around.

Module 2 – Product Research

  • This module walks you through the process of choosing the right business structure and profitable products. Using several analogies, Tim explains the concept of business stability. According to him, it is better to have a lot of products generating a few sales daily than having just a product generate a hundred sales in 24 hours.

He shares insights about products to stay away from, trademarks and patents, research tools, easy product improvement tactics and how to find low-competition niches. He explains his product finding process and how he discovered three of his fastest selling products – children Teepee, Sensory Blankets and Message Center Bulletin Board.

Module 3 – Product Sourcing

  • Once you’ve discovered the right product to sell, the next phase is to look for where to get the products. Tim talks extensively on how to find products to sell on Alibaba.com. For example, he explains how the platform works as well as shares the route he takes when sourcing for products.

After that, he provides nuggets about building a mutually beneficial relationship with suppliers. I consider this relevant considering the intercultural context global trades are built on.

He goes a step further to offer tips on how to navigate the process of negotiating prices after you’ve found the product you’re looking for. He also explains how you can use the flexibility of the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) to your advantage.

Module 4 – Shipping

  • This module covers the importance of having a freight forwarder, how to get shipping quotes from different providers, and the process of obtaining shipping labels all the way to placing your first order to your supplier

This part is a little risky and it is extremely important to select a reputable company. You can transport your products either by sea or by air. Tim warns against shipping you products directly to Amazon.

Module 5 – Branding and Listing Optimization

  • This module is dedicated to teaching you different branding design strategies as well as the technique to optimize your product listing. You will learn about key things you have to put into consideration when creating a brand name. Tim also teaches you a few ways to simplify the labeling process of your product.

This module features a guest contributor by Stacey, Tim’s copywriter who explains six copywriting techniques to incorporate in your listing optimization process.

Module 6 – Product Launch Time

  • In this module, Tim shows you two distinct ways to launch your products. First, he talks about using the Amazon Launch Service called “ZonJump”. The presentation on how to use the service is done by Leo, the CEO of ZonJump. He explains the entire launching process.

In addition to that, Tim explains another option of launching products using Facebook. He also shows you how to get an Amazon-domain storefront URL which he named the Storefront URL method and the Two-Step URL method.

Module 7 – Sponsored Products

Presentation in this module is handled by Tim’s assistant Aaron Eaton, an experienced PPC campaign creation and optimization expert. He shows you how to do keyword selection, aCoS & price bidding, and how to manage a search term report.

In addition to explaining how to maximize your ad spend on PPC, Aaron takes his time to define some key concepts such as:

  • Keyword
  • Search term
  • Broad match campaign
  • Phrase match campaign
  • Exact match campaign

Module 8 – Maintain and Scale Your Business

This module is basically about advice on how you can grow your brand and make profit. You will learn how to get product reviews and generate additional revenue by using Amazon promotions. It provides tips to expedite your reimbursement. Tim delivers a presentation about how to handle running out of stock.

So… How much Does Private Label Masters Cost?

private label masters costPLM costs $5,000 but Tim offers a $1,500 discount if bought on the call.

Actually, I consider the price a little steep for a course that teaches how to become a seller on Amazon. Although I agree that $5,000 is not too much to invest in a course that is easy to duplicate and get results. But we’re talking of Amazon FBA which typically requires fat upfront capital. In addition to paying 5 grand, you have to spend on inventory which may cost $5-7k depending on the product you want to sell.

Also, you’re going to pay for shipping and other logistics before your products are finally delivered. How about the funds you’ll use in running ads on Facebook? When you sum up all the expenses, you will be needing around $15-20k to start your business.

Is It Legit or Just Another Scam?

  • I wouldn’t call the course a scam. Tim’s accomplishments in his barely four years of joining the Amazon business is quite impressive. Also, some people attest to the fact that the course has helped them launch their stores. I believe Tim is a legit Amazon seller.

Can You Make Money With The Program?

  • If Tim isn’t a scam, the next question you might want to ask is, can the program help me make money?

The truth is, there is a lot of money to be made from Amazon FBA with the right product selection, effective promotional strategy, perseverance and discipline. But it isn't easy money, it is a tough industry to succeed in.

Success in Amazon FBA business depends on a lot more than what can be covered in the course. Amazon is a highly saturated platform with millions of sellers. And every day, more people are joining the platform relying on the same knowledge or information that you have.

If 500 students enrolled for the course in 2020, it means you will probably be competing with 100-200 of them as all of you have access to the same information.

Also, you need to factor the upfront cost you have to incur to start your business. After paying $5,000 for the course, you will need $10-15k for inventory, shipping, branding and promotion with PPC.

Do I Recommend PLM?

  • Not really, if what you are looking for is an easy-to-follow system to make money online.

Amazon FBA is like setting up a physical business. You will have to follow up with every stage from production in the factory down to shipment. This involves a lot of collaborations, follow-up messages, and tracking. The truth is,  making money online doesn’t have to be this stressful.

Is There An Easier Alternative To Make Money Online?

  • Absolutely yes! There’s a better and easier way to make money online.

I’m glad you’ve followed the review up to this stage. I have no doubt that you’re truly passionate about making money, so I’m going to show you the business that transformed my life. I earn 5 figures in retainer fee monthly.

I came across this business three years ago after spending thousands of dollars buying courses and attending seminars that promised to transform my life but with very little results to show for it.

The online venture that has made the most positive impact in my life is Lead Generation Business.

What Is Lead Generation?

  • Lead generation simply involves the process of helping businesses and companies to acquire leads. I drive qualified leads to my clients (who are mainly local businesses) and I get paid in exchange for my service.

I generate leads using Facebook ads which I learned through a program called the Local Marketing Vault (LMV).

What is the Local Marketing Vault?

The Local Marketing Vault is an online training platform that provides you access to pre-made funnels that you can easily replicate to run successful Facebook ads for effective lead generation. Setting up Facebook ads from scratch is extremely difficult especially when it comes to targeting the right people.

The LMV shows you every tool, and resource you need to succeed in your lead generation business. Interestingly, you can choose from a wide range of pre-made funnels depending on the niche your clients are in.

The platform has a private Facebook page with over 5,000 people who are making a killing with the business, and always ready to guide new members that are just coming into the Vault.

In February this year, I was able to make $6,850 additional income which I got via the Local Marketing Vault partnership. Interestingly, $3,350 of that is on a monthly retainer now. What this means is I have successfully added $40,200 to my annual income if all goes well.

You should check out Local Marketing Vault if you want an easy-to-duplicate system to generate consistent income online starting from Today. To learn exactly how the program can help you, click HERE
