Clickbank University is a training center and community that offers two types of training for two different categories of people. The first, which is the main focus of the community is designed to train you on how you can create your own informational products like eBooks or video training series. And then market them online. The other section trains affiliates how to sell other people’s products online while earning commissions.

The Clickbank University program has been around for some time. The newly launched CBU 2.0 is only an upgrade of the previous version. The course creators have tried to address the many changes in online commerce. We’re going to see if this upgrade actually represents additional value to your bottom-line.

The program #1 (For vendors) is designed to teach you how to create your own product and get listed on Clickbank marketplace. There's a huge prospect of making money via this model if you’re able to create a solid product in a proven niche. Once you have a product, you can reach out to affiliates to promote it to their audience and compensate them with a commission for each sale.

The program #2 (For affiliates) teaches you how to generate income online by promoting products belonging to other vendors.

The third section of the course (more of a bonus section) teaches you how to generate traffic to boost your affiliate marketing business using Facebook and Instagram Ads.

The Vendor session is a 12-week course with different topics treated each week. The Affiliate session, on the other hand, takes 8 weeks to complete. You have access to plenty of downloads throughout the course. They include training videos, course outlines, and so on.

Who Are The People Behind The Clickbank University Program? 

Adam Horwitz and Justin Atlan created Clickbank University (2.0) and here’s what you might want to know about them.

First, let’s meet Adam Horwitz:

• Adam grew up in Los Angeles. He was only 17 when he started out with online marketing. After a year, he was already running two 6-figure businesses.
• He first heard about the income potential of working online at the age of 15 during a seminar he attended alongside his father. The seminar opened his eyes to the limitless wealth and opportunities on the internet.
• Adam Horwitz happened to put up the number 1 selling product on Clickbank. He made $1+ million in 7 days. His product, Mobile Monopoly, earned him $1.5 million in just 3 days.

He also developed a course, Enigma Marketing Method, which teaches people how to earn via affiliate marketing. He gave the course away for free. Adam runs his 7-figure business, achieving his dream of financial freedom.

Atlan is a co-creator of Clickbank University Justin 2.0. 

• Like Adam, Justin hails from Los Angeles. He identifies himself as a digital entrepreneur, marketing consultant and adventurer.
• Aside from his commitment at CBU, Justin operates SJA Media where he provides private consulting services to diverse industries and platforms.

A graduate of Economics from UC San Diego, Justin has built a reputable management portfolio of implementing execution, and developing marketing and monetization strategy for his clients. He only works with 6-figure clients or higher.

How Much Does Clickbank University 2.0 Cost?

The advertised cost for the program is $47 per month. Actually, you end up paying $54.40 by the time the tax is charged on your payment.

The program also has two upsells. One is for the Clickbank Builder and the other is for Advanced Training. They cost $594 and $97 respectively.

Clickbank University 2.0: Is It Legit Or Just Another Scam?

• Considering the popularity and reputation of Adam Horwitz and Justin Atlan online, it’s safe to conclude that Clickbank University is legit. The program has received some great reviews online. It also offers a full curriculum that seems to deliver its claims.

Can this program truly help you make money? Yes, you can make money with the Clickbank University program. At least, there are several people who claimed to have made money with the course.

Nonetheless, is this a program I would recommend? To be honest, Clickbank University isn’t bad, but it’s not a program I can recommend for you.

Don’t get me wrong. I have no intention of bad-mouthing the program. You can make decent income either by creating your own products and selling them online. Or by helping other vendors to market their products.

However, the Clickbank University team makes it look as if their program is the easiest to make money with. Going by their ironclad spiel, a potential student might think they only have to pay for the training, watch the videos and then start pulling in cool profits. It’s way harder than that.

The system involves many complex activities and a steep learning curve, which make it generally hard to succeed. Although CBU has tens of training videos for you. But the trainers apparently fail to show exact websites and products that are killing it as examples. Also, Clickbank University doesn’t seem to have an exact formula for creating a successful product.

Clickbank University Review: What Are the Pros and Cons?

To help you understand Clickbank University better, I would like to run through some of the positives and negatives of the program.

Some of the positive sides of Clickbank University include:

•   The curriculum appears to be thorough and well-structured. The lessons are a great source of information, especially for newbies seeking a training on how to create their own informational product.
•   The program has a fair refund policy. There’s a 30-day money back guarantee. You easily request a refund in case you realize the program isn’t a good fit for you.
•   The pricing is quite reasonable. You pay a monthly fee of $47. Although you may end up paying more. The program upsells the Clickbank Builder and Advanced Training which cost $691 altogether. Not the cheapest program out there, but definitely fairly priced.
•       The program has a weekly “webinar” with a ‘questions and answers’ section where Adam Horwitz and Justin Atlan answer questions you may have. This is especially good for newbies who are finding it hard to navigate through the course.

Cons of Clickbank University:

•   Clickbank University doesn’t pay equal attention to all the sections in the course. Much more attention is given to the vendor section than to the affiliate training. Meanwhile merely learning about product creation and how to set up landing pages doesn’t guarantee success in info-marketing.

Besides, Clickbank University doesn’t seem to offer a clear strategy on how to create killer products that will generate a truckload of sales. This places a great strain on the possibility of succeeding using the program.

•   Some of their training provides outdated and rehashed information about how you can succeed with the program. A typical example is recommending Elance which no longer exists (as it’s now merged with Upwork). This only points to the fact that some pieces of information provided are not as beneficial as they’re hyped.
•       The program teaches you how to use Facebook ads to drive traffic to your affiliate site. However, I feel their training lacks the technical details of what it takes to run successful Facebook ads. Besides, Facebook doesn’t really like most of Clickbank’s sales pages formats like VSLs, and other hyped claims they put in their ad content.
•       The Clickbank University team hosts weekly webinars. My expectation was to learn something business related. Ironically, the webinars didn’t seem to address any core aspect of the online business.

The webinars are an extended promotional tool to encourage more people to enroll for the program. Much of the content is designed for newbies on how to get started with the program. This may not appeal to you if you’re someone like me who’s looking to take action.

•       Also, Clickbank University isn’t clear about the amount of work you need to put into the business to make a full time income. The promo material for the program makes it look a bit too easy in my opinion. The hype around the program raises a false hope of a get-rich-quick scheme.
•       Another thing I find a bit annoying about the program is the restriction they place on access to course materials. The first 3 weeks are accessible right away. But you have to contact the Support before proceeding into further training. This doesn’t make much sense, especially to intermediate or experienced digital marketers who can breeze through the training much faster.
•       For some time now, the forum created for people to provide support for one another is now becoming less active. The forum now looks abandoned with less personable members. In any online course or training, you can’t over-emphasize the importance of having a robust forum where more experienced and more successful members could provide support to new members.

Is there An Easier And Better Alternative Out There?

Yes, there is.
