Grant claims his course is the best online training on the planet. Well, I personally disagree with that. While it’s true that Grant has gained vast experience in sales, his ideas are not in any way better than what you get from other master sales trainers like Joe Pici, John Barrows, and Brian Tracy, among others. But you know what? I’m going to leave you to be the judge of that.

• Grant Cardone University is a sales training program that promises to equip you with the sales skills set you need to succeed as a salesperson. The course contains over 800 interactive video lessons that explain all the money making skills that you must have as a salesperson to overcome a tough economy. There are also sections that deliver professional advice on how you can improve your mindset and philosophy to become a successful salesperson who feels confident to sell any product.

By enrolling for the course, you gain unlimited access to all available courses on-demand to help you find new business in a competitive environment. In addition, Grant Cardone claims to offer in-house coaching service to help you tackle any problem you might be facing in your business. The course is designed for individuals, teams and organizations.

This course is very costly. It costs $10k for 12 months access.

Although there’s no denying that the ability to sell is a high income skill, and a vital element we all need to achieve success in business. However, I consider the $10k price tag on Grant’s course to be too steep.

The price doesn’t represent the value the course offers. Not because the course is entirely bad, but because the ideas in the course can be sourced elsewhere. In a way, Grant has already explained most of the concepts and ideas he teaches in the course in some of his books. For example, he draws most of its sales tips largely from what he has previously discussed in his book titled The 10X Rule.

Also, you can find many of the topics discussed in his course in some free content available online. The only difference is that the topics appear to be more coherently arranged in an organized format to make learning easier.

Grant Cardone University: Is it Legit or Just Another Scam?

I don’t consider the Grant Cardone University course a scam.

• Grant has been able to build and maintain a good reputation for a long time. He’s a thought leader in sales and business development. He has vast experience that cuts across many industries such as real estate, automobile, and tech among others.
• In fact, he was named the #1 sales trainer in the world and #1 of the “25 Marketing Influencers to Watch in 2017” by Forbes. All these point to the fact that Grant Cardone is doing something right.

But the big question is, can this course truly help you make money?

The answer is yes. You can make money if you’re a good and persuasive salesperson. This is true whether you’re working with an organization or you decide to work for yourself. The potential of making it bigger is higher when you’re in a business that involves high ticket sales like real estate, automobile, and so on.

Do I Recommend this Course?

I don’t recommend Grant’s course and below are my reasons:

• Grant Cardone University isn’t the best course for you if you’re like most people looking to make easy and consistent income. Apart from the fact that the course is grossly overpriced. The learning curve for Grant’s sales training is very high. The course contains more than 800 videos and it appears each course is intricately linked to your overall success. Thus, you have to follow through all the courses in the right order.

Also, this course isn’t what you want to take especially if you’re not in a business with high ticket sales possibilities, upwards of $10k.

Grant Cardone University Review: What Are The Pros and Cons?

In order for you to validate the worth or otherwise of this course, I will carefully run through some pros and cons associated with Grant Cardone University.

The following are the pros of Grant’s sales training course:

•   The first pro about this course is tied to Grant Cardone’s experience in the industry. He’s been around for a long time, organizing training and workshops in sales. He’s an industry leader who’s amassed so much experience in sales and business development.

Grant has had his works featured in many credible print and electronic media outlets, including ABC News, Forbes and so on. Also, he has an incredible online presence. For example, his YouTube channel has more 1 million subscribers with well above 4k videos on sales and business.

•   Grant Cardone University offers two bonuses: Mastering the Cold Call and Mastermind Group. These two courses add some value to the entire course. Mastering the Cold Call, for example, features over 50 videos with some relevant content. The other course has live, weekly coaching sessions for twelve months.
•   The course has an extensive curriculum featuring hundreds of videos. For individuals enrolling for the course, they have access to 800+ video segments with certifications for each segment. The teams and businesses option contains 3,500+ total segments with additional benefits such as certifications, one-on-one virtual coaching, tracking and reporting activity, virtual coaching from Cardone trained experts, customized and training curriculum, among others.

Now, let’s take a look at the cons of this course:

•   Grant’s Course is too pricey. I consider the $10k price tag very steep. I agree that price shouldn’t be the only factor to consider when investing on courses. In fact, I don’t mind paying a higher price as long as there is corresponding value.

I personally believe that Grant Cardone University isn’t worth the price. Maybe it sounds a little reasonable if it’s a company paying for the course for their employees. But for an individual, I won’t recommend this. The course is overpriced.

 

•   The strategies and principles taught in the Grant Cardone University look a bit rehashed and basic. A large part of the content is already featured in some books authored by Grant. A lot more can be found free online. Why pay such a high price for a training that you get most of its content at a cheaper rate from best-written books by sales experts like Dan Waldschmidt, Daniel Pink, and even Grant himself?
•   Another con I observe in the course is that Grant pays no or little attention to the amount of work that’s required to succeed with the training. Let’s face it. You’re unlikely to succeed in anything if you underplay the importance of hard work. Whether in life or in business, a considerable input of hard work is needed to achieve a great result.
•   Finally, the course has a steep learning curve. This is not so good an option for you especially if you’re a type looking for a program that allows you to take immediate action. Don’t get me wrong. You’ve got to learn before earning online. But the learning process doesn’t have to take forever.

Based on the cons identified above, I won’t recommend you to enroll for the Grant Cardone University course.
